Bought this on DVD the other day out of pure curiosity. Its about a group of people that live in the subway tunnels under Manhattan. Some of them have been down there for years, but eventually they all get their own apartments on the east side.
Don't know if anyone has seen this, but is it for real?
I know its a documentary, but it has such a Hollywood theme to the movie I almost expected their to be leading roles by Brad Pitt and Halle Berry. I saw little evidence of where this was supposed to be as there was little indication to the surrounding area. It could have been filmed in the same tunnel as the Firestarter video for all I know. maybe someone stateside can help me out here. Was this well publicised? I could well believe it happened, but i've never heard anything about it.
So, is it for real. What did you think of the film in general? |
