You people worry me. No one talking about the Secret Origin of Edie? No one want to talk about the wonderful Philip Bond art work? No one wondering just how Marvel are getting such great artists on this book?
There's just some great bits in this one, Edie getting pissed in the Oval office, stealing the gold and she joined X force.

I really liked this issue... beautifully written. However, X-Statix #9 was quite possibly perfect. As much as I liked Edie I am a bigger fan of team interaction. I can't wait to see how El Guapo will change the team dynamics. It seemed as though Vivisector and Phat were interested, no? Of course, El Guapo will turn out hetero.
I really hope they do note end up ressurrecting U Go gril, that would tkae out a lot of the emotional value of the series. (Though I would be very happy to see her coming back, what would happen with Venus, then?)
I love the Diana possibility. I want the tabloid press to do a run down of the 'creepy/loony Brits' who're helming the creative overhaul of comics. It'd be great.
Any nitpickers, please note, I write "comics" to mean 'mainstream', and "comix" to mean 'underground'. I thought this was generally understood, but, if not, I find it to be useful shorthand.
