Our lovely _pin is venturing in to the wilds of England's fair capital city and we must entertain him. Sooo... who wants to skip work on Tuesday afternoon and sit around at 2pm (or meet us after work) somewhere nice and central- probably with beer.

I would absolutely love to... but I have to work this week, which sucks, and they've still not quite forgiven me for taking last Saturday night off for Flyboy's birthday palaver... so sorry, _pin. Next time I'll be there. With beer and stuff.

I have been in touch with _pin by telepathy (okay, text message), and I think the vague plan is: _pin will meet some people around 2ish to get some food. Then the plan is to go to 'that' cafe in Soho that some of us met at before - I can't remember who exactly was there, pretty sure sleaze wwas, Lada also - was either called the Blue something or just is mostly blue in colour. If no-one remembers what it's called (I'm about to plunge into the Gathering archives in search, wish me luck), obviously we'll make it somewhere else, but the point is that at least some of the day will be spent in non-alcoholic environs. I get off work at 5, so will come there then...

It's the Blue Room on Bateman Street, off Bateman Street in Soho, from 5pm. I have no idea about earlier or more than a few hours later...

I'm meeting _pin at 2pm outside the Oxford Street, Tottenham Court Road Station exit. We'll probably go and eat something in Soho- possibly in one of the series of ridiculously cheap little Italian's- the Centrale or somewhere. After that we'll be moving to The Blue Room I guess, unless we happen to pass a shoe shop, in which case it may take a while and also I seem to be in the mood for milkshake.

I'll be leaving my computer in about 45 minutes so if you want to get hold of me or _pin after that and don't have our numbers then haha you're screwed (or could try ringing someone else)!
