i was realistically sooooo heading for giles and got xander. i did a different one on valentine's day and got willow as my dream date, which is better than giles or xander.

i did do a star wars one a while back - i'm the evil emperor apparently. i wanted to be han solo.

I was the Emperor too. I guessed I'd be C3P0, and wanted to be R2D2...

I'm Giles. And also Frodo. And I'm the John Pertwee incarnation of Doctor Who. Not to mention whichever the red Teletubby is, Ford Prefect and C-3PO.

See, when you put 'em all together, a pattern emerges....

Try this, mr y.

Apparently I am Princess Leia but being an astrobellicophobe*, I know not whether this be good or bad. IIRC, Ross from Friends has sexual fantasies about me and I'm in love with my corn-fed twin brother...

*Star Wars hater (just invented the term, is there another?)

I had always imagined you in a darker shade but just as shiny, MC.

At least you don't have bagel shaped hair, like Princess Me.

I ZoCher!

However, I also appear to be Princess Sodding Leia.

Fuck.

On the plus side, I can now look up to and admire Mordant as a shining example and role model. I buff your goldenrod in admiration. Erm, that reads worse than it is.

Just out of interst, when you do these things, do you
a] Answer in a way which is honest
or
b] Answer in a way which ensures you're Boba Fett.

Unfortunately, I follow a, which means that as a character archetype I fall under the category of
(presses results button)
Twat.

No surprises there.

There's always
c) cheat.

I just couldn't be bothered with this one. Now if it were a Star Trek character, then I'd care.

Funny. Star Trek never did it for me. Not enough shiny helmets.

Go on though, I'll bite. Have you got a Star Trek character test? If it includes the new series etc. I probably won't know who I'm supposed to be (unless I end up as 7of9 or the borg lady played by Alice Krieg, for no real reason. Ahem) but it beats working.

It also beats 'which member of the ground force team are you' when you think about it. I'll stop now.

Wonderful - not only did everyone in the office look at me when I found the star trek doobrie wouldn't open on my mac and started swearing, but Bizunth made me spray the floor with coffee.
Sumbitch, it's on me boots.

Sorry, that was a pretty crap quiz. Even on my PC, it relies on "Answer" and "Next" buttons to advance through the questions... only in some of the frames, the buttons are invisible and you have to click on empty space.

I want to know what Star Trek character it makes me that I figured *that* out.

Back to Google...

[This one's not bad... you have to keep your own score with a pencil; but if that's good enough for text-based Pong, that's good enough for Star Trek. I guess.]

Persephone, you Sweetie! Here am I, bored rigid on my sick bed, looking for diversion too.

We do Myers Briggs tests at work all the time and I tend to get slightly different results from these but this one was spot on:
I seem to be
which makes sense since I spent the best part of twenty years as a psychiatric nurse.
Only problem is Troi has always irritated the fuck out of me. Ha! Now, Lwaxana Troi, there's a woman!

ZoCher, that's totally funny. I seem to remember that you wrote an eloquent post about empathy a while or so ago... [threadrot]IMHO, they totally messed up the concept of the empath on TNG... it could have been so-o-o-o much more...[/threadrot].

I love Myers-Briggs. I am always off the charts on I, which nothing can be done about; way out on J, which I'm working on bringing more to the middle; and smack in the middle on N/S and T/F, both of which I flip-flop on. Only when I get ISTJ I get mad & throw out the results and cheat, which probably says something about me too.

I know what you mean. In my mind's eye I see myself as Jim Kirk but I turn into Spock usually, when tested. & Ganesh thinks I should be a Klingon. Although he says I do have Deanna's cleavage...

All my scores are borderline and they switch about, much influenced by mood and circumstance. Today I am mostly being a tharg due to cold /flu and no smoking to ease poorly throat.

Okay, on the past three tests I've been Faith, Darth Vader, and Q/Quark. I think it's high time you people had me killed or something.

A combination of Faith, Darth Vader and Quark? Are you Margaret Thatcher? You power-crazed beast, you.

Beats my combination of Xander /Leia /Troi. Bleating and ineffectual simpering would be about my stretch.

That's Odo. He's a shapeshifting alien whose natural form is a gloopy orange fluid. He sleeps in a bucket.

Trek weird.

PS: "Putting Odo in his bucket" is a euphemism for female masturbation.
