Anyone seen this this yet?
Here's a gallery.
I haven't seen the videos in the cinema yet but what I saw of the rest of the exhibition didn't really grab me. Lucy Skaer's unlimited prints were pretty amusing and, despite all the hype, in the context of commericial sponsorship Carey Young's non-existent artwork seemed quite clever. The rest seemed much of a muchness - the sort of stuff you see in contemporary exhibitions all the time. Nothing that outstanding - still maybe the video installations will change my mind. |
