I have to say that the best part of the issue for me was the introduction of Robbie Rodriguez. My boyfriend and I flipped out when we saw that, as we're both huge fans of director Robert Rodriguez [who happens to be friends with one Mike Allred].

I hope he's in the series for a very, very long time.

The Dead Girl letter?

Party-line seems to be that this is the best issue yet since the relaunch. I'll agree.

Love the Lichtenstein dots on the cover, but don't know if there's a specific reference.

El Guapo is super-cool.

"She is dead - all the time... She is a fine, sexy woman."

Yes, that would be one of the best letters I've seen - maybe still not up there with the one about "the new hip-hop, political correctness trend" though.

So, I think the big question is: do we believe Guy when he says that he realises now that he doesn't "know" Rimi Withnail, the girl intended to play Edie? I wonder. She's notably not killed with the rest of the X-Statix movie cast, and I can't help but think she'll turn up next issue - she may even be the focus of it. Could she start taking her obsession with Edie a bit far? Start thinking she *is* Edie? It would fit with the themes of the book - celebrity obsession, etc.

Love the wordless panel in which Myles and Phat exchange glances after El Guapo is introduced. Venice Beach?
