Time Traveler Magi Looses His Mind

I noticed this ('TIME-TRAVELER' BUSTED FOR INSIDER TRADING
) at the Conversation room and thought, shit, what if its fucking true and he just lost his senses to temptation? Okay now, lets read it and elaborate a bit.

- The guy is a psychic and is drawing information from that All-Powerfull-Source we all envious twerps have always dreamt of contacting but never dare becuase in the inside we do not consider ourselves that worthwhile or do not dare to put our hands on such a power.

Maybe he had the guts to approach it, he got to it, but had not all the wires to hold to the vertiginous pace. Maybe he wanted in the first place to get the money to actually do something -even if it might have been perceived as "wicked" by some people- and he got lost in the middle with just getting the money for the money itself -and I suppose for screwing more and more and more. This type of "fall" is something that feeds lore, stories, novels, religions.

The "craft" might be his device for "trancing" or whatever.

- Even if he is a delusional schizo-psycho, the fact is he might still be accessing accurate information paranormally. Many psychiatrists have had the chance to witness "psychic" phenomena in some of their patients. And I don't have the time to start looking for the links.

- He might actually have physically traveled and in past decades he might have fallen in a "Fortean Times" report or an Ambrose Bierce's short story. Word has it this type of phenomena is going to increase publicly as we approach 2012, challenging all the paradigms that support our current knowledge of the world-as-we-know-it, until it literally falls into pieces.

- Okay, he did had insider connections... and he made a fool of himself. How many are out there that are not calling attention to themselves? Maybe this one was even encouraged to do so in order to divert attention.

- Now, honestly, there must be someone around the guy with a little bit of an innovative neuron who is actually interrogating him to seek for other things from the "future". If not, I'll catch a plane and go interview him.

...

Would anybody here support a funding for my trip??

uh, note that the reporting paper was the Weekly World News, perhaps most famous for busting open the astonishing Bat Boy story, as well as the Face of Satan Seen in Cloud of Smoke.

Why Yahoo! News includes such a source in their dailies is beyond me...

Yes, I expect a high standard of authoritatively backed up sources...

But since this man exists only in rumourspace, I'd be up for helping him escape.

Damn, I had tought on doing something like that ! (seriously)
I'll have to learn from his mistakes.

Though I was thinking more of a psychic (full) time travel derivated from dreaming techniques

of course we could just confront his psychosis/psychic power by convincing the law enforcement authorities to accept his offer of the locations of osama bin laden and other high ranking "terrorists", in exchange for his "freedom".

he is not telling the truth about being from the future.
there are much easier ways to make money if you are actually from the future.
like inventing post its.
however there have been cases of psycics who dream the future days events, like a preveiw. this is actually fairly common in my experiences.
this person could simply have been in a place to use it most profitably.
my thoery behind this phenomenom is that psycic energy is fifth dimensional in nature, allowing our psyche to break free from our three dimensional bodies and travel "through" time.
lacking skills to do this consiously we sometimes do this instinctively while asleep.
evidence for this is provided by the wide number of "prophetic dreams".

Thats fucking brilliant. I wonder what the next mass consume cool shit will be.

~ by convincing the law enforcement authorities to accept his offer of the locations of osama bin laden and other high ranking "terrorists", in exchange for his "freedom".

I doubt they'll care. If he is right, it might end the "war".

1) Even if you accept that the Weekly World News might occasionally stumble across a genuine story, what good would large amounts of 2003 currency do him in 2256?

2) It's "Loses" his mind. "Loosing" his mind would mean something entirely different.

Sorry, but that's a pet peeve of mine.
