5, geburah, is oddly appropriate to Eris. Eris in her original form was to the greeks an image of the classic cannibal ogress. Meaning 23 only arbitrarily signifies the path of the Hanged Man and has no real connection. I apologize if this causes you too much distress.

Discordians usually tie the 23 by the formula 2+3=5.

In so far as relating 23 to the tarot, I would suggest the following: as the trumps number 22, 23 therefore represents the coming back around to the beginning after completion of the cycle--a breaking down of the establishment and starting over. This jives better with the I Ching and the words listed in Sepher Sephiroth.

There is a lot of debate about the 23rd Major Arcana, for me it is clearly the Fool- everybody knows they're cyclic, everybody knows the fool is Eris's buttmonkey, where's the doubt?

But on 23 coincidences I couldn't say, the more there are the less they matter.
