Hi ! I need your help !
I'm looking for some evidence pointing that brit troops killed (executed) some argentinian POW during the Falkland Wars. I seem to remember that it made quite a fuss a few years ago and that the POW were tied up when shot. I don't remember what Brit unit was involved : paras ? SAS ? which guard ?
So, if you can help me, thanks !

Don't remember that at all, sorry, though that doesn't mean it didn't happen.

I remember one story I heard, from a friend-of-a-friend-of-a-friend etc. and later popped up in a column somewhere, that some British troops gained a point somewhere (was it Goose Green?) and found that some of the surrendering troops were US mercenaries. They were, according to the story, summarily executed. Would that be it?

I read that story in issue #78 or so in Hellblazer.... the Scottish guy tells it to Constantine as he dies in a bus shelter... though that doesn't mean it didn't happen.

I recall a scandal about a Brit with an ammo pouch full of Argentinian ears, but these had apparently been cut from corpses, not living POWs, which is prolly not quite what you want. I think the guy got in serious trouble for taking trophies like that, though.

I remember being slated by someone for daring to refer to the Falklands as a war, being told that it was technically The Falklans Conflict - and therefore the killings were "less legal" than in a war anyway.

I read an article some years ago (I forget what in, but it was a weekend magazine that came with a paper) about the "Green-eyed boys"... some kind of scary frat-boy-style faction within the British troops who prided themselves on torture, execution etc... I don't remember anyone getting sued over the story, so it may be worth checking out. Can't remember too many details, but I do remember being absolutely horrified by some of the shit which allegedly went down.

Just Googled it... all I'm getting is a book about 3 Para. So maybe look there... although from most of the links I found the truth (while undeniably unpleasant) may not be as bad as I remembered hearing it was.

Yeah, "Green Eyed Boys" book does concern itself with these allegations. The GEB were a particularly dodgy (and unsantioned) group/club within the Parachute Regiment who were at Goose Green and had a habit of singing Nazi marching songs and having particularly brutal initiation ceremonies. There were allegations that they executed American mercenaries but it seems that is unlikely. The rumour that Americans were serving with the Argentinians started when Argentine officers were heard to speak English with U.S. accents, gained from officer training courses at West Point etc....

Book called Excursion to Hell, an autobio ISBN 0-330-32237-0 details the execution of some American mercenaries in the Falklands.
