Mark Millar's Trouble

Mark Millar has a new miniseries coming out soon, it's called Trouble and it is being published by Marvel's resurrected Epic line. Terry and Rachel Dodson are drawing it. The only thing anyone has anything to go on so far is the creators very dodgy reputations and this cover. I'm fearing the worst.

What do you think?

Courtney Love's got her own comic now?

So what's the story on Terry and Rachel Dodson's dodgy reputation?

Well, they're best known for drawing t+a comics.

"Well, they're best known for drawing t+a comics."

Problem being? If you know that going in, why not just embrace the hardcore goodness that is T+A. I thik what it comes down to is whether or not you're a fan of Millar's writing, not whether or not the characters within are gonna have massive friggin' boobs... which is good ANYWAY.

Yeah, okay not always is it a good thing... but the bloody book is called "Trouble"... like sexy, tie-you-up-in-leather, dominatrix-style trouble. Yummy.

Apparently it's a reworked version of Epic's old "Trouble With Girls" comics.

I'm not sure if I'm entirely willing to embrace the Wizard-approved, Kevin Smith-fueled t+a-for-fanboys comics market, Mike O.

Perhaps not, Flux... but certainly you can see its appeal, and understand why it would have a drawing power.

Tho personally I don't see a book like that having a discussion thread on this forum... given that it'll probably end up being a pile of crap (IMHO). But we'll see... and to each his own, right?

Boo-hoo.

It'll probably rock. But not as much as Wanted. Which'll sort the men from the boys.

'Classic or dude', man. Better. Go for it.

"Apparently it's a reworked version of Epic's old "Trouble With Girls" comics."

In that Trouble With Girls was creator-owned by Gerard Jones and Will Jacobs, do you mean "reworked" as in "ripped off of"? If so, no change there for Marky Mark Millar, then.

Me, I'm expecting it to be a shite Kill Your Boyfriend rip-off. I'm sorry, I mean, "homage"...
