Tonight I was mulling over that damn address I mentioned in another thread recently, the e-mail address I saw in a dream, saracream@aol.com, and how the address doesn't exist.

Then, a flash of lightning hit. Maybe I was mispelling it. Maybe Sara was actually Sarah! So I tried sarahcream@aol.com, and guess what? Such an e-mail address does exist! I quickly sent another e-mail about the dream I had and asking the person whose address it belongs to to tell me a bit about themselves (I left out the gay anarchist witch stuff for now). Hopefully they won't think I'm some crazy person. I hope they write back soon.

The mystery deepens...

Or...

Maybe some prankster on Barbelith recently created that address in the hopes of playing a practical joke on me (cue paranoia).

time will tell.

Damn I wish I thought of that!

Well, if the person writes back about how they're a gay anarchist witch who likes to be on the bottom, then I'll know something's fishy.

This is getting weirder and weirder everyday.

Actually, have you taken a look at her profile? She doesn't seem very invisible... um, even though, I guess the point of being invisible is not being too obvious.

while you are severly creeping out that sarahcream girl, I thought you might want to know that in a dream i had a genetically enhanced pig told me that he knew the name of God. It took me a long time to figure out that the name was just a simple personal mantra that I was supposed to use while lucid dreaming. I use it now when i want to lucid dream. saracream sounds like a very soothing possibly magical set of sylables. just a thought. by the way, could this just be that you are very horny? that's what all your "secret dream messages" seem to be screaming at me. it's not that hard to get laid guy.

What's on sarahcream's aol profile? Is it a porn profile or something?

Not hard to get laid? Obviously you didn't read my entire initial thread, Elbereth.

Doh, I completely forgot about AOL profiles. I probably should have checked that before I sent that e-mail, which has not been replied back to. She probably thinks I'm a pervert or something. Oh well, not far from the truth. Seems she is female, not married, and likes fashion, cheb khaled, PR, and THE CREW (?) She also had a long quote about risks, or something along those lines.

So, that mystery has pretty much been solved. Damn, I really thought I was on the verge of unlocking some weird conspiracy or something. Why the name would even appear to me in a dream still stumps me. I do notice that the first and last names consist of 5 letters each, however, and that Illuminatus Trilogy book I'm currently reading mentions the whole law of fives a lot.

I guess it all was just over-active imagination.

Yes, the Illuminatus Trilogy has occupied quite a bit of my mind recently.

I was pondering the fact that maybe yahoo or hotmail is a possibilty, you never know.

Though as Impulsivelad points out (and I never thought of this) Sarah Cream does have the same initials as Susan Curtis, a character I wrote in a story recently who, while not only very much like me, wrote a story about being initiated into a secret society of sorts. I had the dream shortly after I wrote the story.

Have you thought about unpacking/meditating on the name a bit to see what it might mean for you, why it has those connatations etc. - could be the foundation for some other magickal work or the basis of a magickal identity - you could divine for additional meanings or try and dream more about the name and what lies behind it, for instance.

Um, who's Susan Curtis?

And I gotta ask, cause now I'm curious -- were there any pictures of Sarah Cream on her aol profile?

Susan Curtis was the name of a character I wrote in a story recently. See the original misleading dream thread for more details...

And no, she had no picture.
