Are any of the London lot about on the evening of the 10th of this month?
Reason I ask is I'm at an interview down in Feltham that afternoon and will be passing through the capital around about office kicking out time and wondered if anyone fancied meeting up for a couple of drinks.
Nothing too large as I will probably have to head off at around eight to get home the same day =(. Just a civilised little get together that will add more light and joy into my day.
Are you in town for the night, or are you doing the let's have a couple of pints before I catch the next train deal? I ask because we still have to do the whole "deciding the venue" game! Which is always such fun.
So which station will you be leaving from? It matters because it'd be nicer for you if you have less far to travel to get to the thing that takes you home.
Would be nice to get up to see the London crowd, and Adamswish, but as I'm a total lightweight, I'll almost certainly be recovering (ie puking and sleeping) from the weekend and unable to leave the flat. Next time sir!
Will be returning from Feltham to Waterloo. Both are on the Bakerloo line, so if you know of a decent venue between those two and within walking distance of the stations along the brown line then cool.
Nothing would give me greater than to say "yes! Yes! YESSSSSSS!" in best Meg Ryan stylee to the Swish, but unfortunately I'm working until 2000 and can do little more than crawl feebly home at the end of a long, long day.
We are planning to meet in Waterloo Station at 5.00ish and then wander off to a pub nearby. I'm not sure which one yet as I haven't been to Waterloo for quite a while and it will depend on which pub looks OK and isn't too crowded. Mind you if someone wants to choose the location for us, I'd be up for that too. I'm in one of those icky indecisive moods.
If worse comes to worse, PM me before 4.00pm (that's when I leave work) and I'll give you my mobile number (if you don't have it already) and then you can text/call me and I can let you know from there. Sorry it's a bit haphard, but that's where my head is today. BrainMush!
