I'm a placid guy normally, but what the fuck is Stone Mirror's problem? I thought half of magick was to do with your sense of humour - you know, the whole idea of banishing with laughter? If discussing magick in any substantive way consists of po-faced chin-stroking, and an utterly humourless approach to whatever anyone else has to say, then count me out. I also really dislike this arrogant approach to age that's been doing the rounds on the site as a whole recently - "I'm 25, so I've been doing magick far longer than you and obviously have a bigger claim to it" - "I'm in my fifties and have been doing everything longer than you have" - "I've been practicing magick since I was three, and obviously am a greater adept than you". I just have to say, we're not talking about fucking bands here! No one has a bigger claim to what we're talking about here than anyone else - and although I admit that discussion takes some frivolous routes sometimes, that's half the fun. Because that's what all this is supposed to be - fun. If it's not sewrious enough for you, then I'm sorry, but you've been wasting most of your time for years. It's serious all right, but just not in the way that you think. So take care, and enjoy. |
