Awwwww. Abiogenesis Press is doing a tribute to Alan Moore for his upcoming 50th birthday. All proceeds to go to the Alzheimer's Disease Int'l.
The contributors to the volume read like a who’s who of the comics industry, new and old, and include specially created comic strips, illustrations, essays, anecdotes, stories, poetry and personal recollections from: Michael Moorcock, Iain Sinclair, Darren Shan, Brad Meltzer, John Coulthart, Neil Gaiman, Dave Gibbons, Bryan Talbot, David Lloyd, J H Williams III, Kevin O'Neill, Will Eisner, Howard Cruse, James Kochalka , Adam Hughes, Peter Kuper, Jose Villarubia, Jimmy Palmiotti, Rick Veitch, Michael T. So many good reasons I want to pick this up if it's available for us Yanks. I'm curious to know what people's first exposure to Moore was. It was his Swampy days for me. |
