Want to expand my vocabulary; it's always good to learn... I learnt about the feeding habits of foxes today, although I'm not sure if what ‘@Bod the second’ said is 100% accurate.

Anyway, please post lovely words here, and perhaps a little example?

Giddhom - Gidd.um
Galloping of cows that are plagued by flies.
Interesting word, should be extended to include humans: After 2 hours, Dylan snapped. Unfortunately, his half-mad giddhom did nothing but attract more flies.

Keck - Kek
To rech, or vomit without output.

Xysma - Zys.Ma
Material-like bits of membrane, found in the stools of diarrhea
Charming

Nidrosity - Nid.Ros.City
Belches that smell of cooked meat.

All of these have infinite uses, especially Nidrosity... one of my faves - all from a book on disgusting words.

More please!

A keck is a trouser, one half of a pair of same.

The word you want is boak, a fine and practically onomatopoeic Scottish term for upchucking, and also used by some as a surname up there.

Presumably a corruption of the same, toksik. As children we would have a good giggle passing "Boak Brothers" shop off Gorgie Road. Can't think of any famous Boaks though. I suspect any aspiring young Boak would likely have reupholstered it with an eye to the favour of casting directors, no?

Floccinaucinihilipilification - "the act of estimating something as worthless." Pronounced properly, the way it rolls around your mouth feels fantastic.
