bastards killed off the lone gunmen last night. and they were my favourite characters too.

Okay admittedly I've not watch it for absolutely ages, but the one time I tune in they do this to me.

Watched it for the first time in years last night. What was going on? Where is Mulder? Scully? How did that guy from the Terminator get there? Freaky.

I thought the way they died was inexplicable. The other two should have legged it or maybe one holding the guy down, another pulling the alarm and the third making a break. You don't actually see them die though so they might well be set up for some return from grave action.

I think it's ended in the US but not in the UK. At least not on terrestrial channels, which is all I watch because I'm a TeleLuddite. I recently started watching it again because you know what? It good good again. And I really like the new characters, especially Reyes (miaow yum etc.) because she's got a vulnerability about her that Scully doesn't seem to have.

They killed off the Lone Gunmen because it's the final series. Don't be surprised if all the main characters get killed off as well. That's not inside info btw, just speculation.

Ahhh, 'twas a shame. Locked in a room with a guy who emitted some poisonous gas or summat.

Anyway, a noble death, all after a whole sub-plot about them being broke and unable to continue and what's the point in living if we can't bring down the system etc etc.

Very touching. If I'd been paying more attention I might have gone all soppy and cried.

I seem to remember a thread somewhere that gave detailed spoilage for the final episode. It's been shown on digital in the UK, but not on the Beeb.
