okay, its not at all magickal, but it worked for me.
there is a code you can dial, upon picking up the telephone for the first time after an incoming call, which blocks the number from ever calling again.(obviously you can undo it too)
my flatmates girlfriend was crank calling our house, and after denying it profusely, i pulled that on her.(or whoever it was, of course) about a week later, my flatmate shows up all angry, pumped full of adrenalin, and confronts me as to whether i had blocked his ex for some reason.
she was, you see, informed when trying to call that she had been blocked, and unwittingly revealed herself.
it may not work, they may go to call boxes, but it will mean you at least get less calls during winter.
look in the phone book for the code you need, or if that fails call up the operator. |
