Hmm, weird. I don't think I need to state the obvious about "victimless vcrime" and all that. Loved that quote - so mushies are now equivalent to crystal meth? What?

Mushies have weird semi-legal status over here, I think. I remember reading an article about a trial a few years back - I think possession is not illegal, nor is growing them but freezing them is as this counts as "preparation". Bizarre - but I might be hallucinating that and mistaking it for memory.
I've never heard of anyone getting nicked for 'em over here anyway. Would I be right to say we've a much more drugs positive culture in the UK? Grass now semi-legal, we don't have the whole piss-testing thing everywhere etc. Perhaps more of a drug awareness because of the whole rave culture thing.

Well, there are idiots at the state level, too. When I was first contemplating civil disobedience, I did a little research and discovered that in most states, it's illegal to own mushrooms or mycelia due to the psilocybin content, but it's not illegal to own the spores. There are two exceptions - California and Georgia made it illegal to own the spores as well, in spite of the fact that there is no psychoactive anything in them and they grow wild all over...
