I can't see it happening and if it does, I won't be all that interested. Brown's made some kind of name for himself in dubby lo-fi electrindie, Mountfield's bass antics with primal Sceam have given him back some of the fame that he briefly found through Fool's Gold. Reni's reportedly a happy family man. The only one with anything to gain is Squire, what with the disastrous Seahorses and solo rubbish, and he's shown absolutely no interest in writing or recording anything other than dull, dull, dull Brit indie dirges - a world away from Brown and Mountfield.
Quite apart from all that, I can't see any way in which The Stone Roses could be relevant any more. |
