Hijacking sounds like an excellent idea, you could always write to the company and just tell them your story see what they say. Might even get a few free posters...very strange though, I thought it was something that had actually been created by a Barbeloid.

Music legal advice person reckons the best way to deal with it is to make it a hit in the rest of the world before the Magnum people launch it elsewhere... then they'd be the ones on the back foot, the icecream feeds awareness of the tune, and I would have some kind of case.
