Don't know why I didn't think about putting this on the 'Lith before.
Two friends of mine are organising a party at "London's painfully trendy Neon Gallery" (thanks to the Evening Double Standard for that) on the 22nd of this month and I've been charged with filling the walls. At the moment there is still space for a couple more artists to put some work up, mainly due to the fact that a lot of my friends stretch the definition of "artist" by not actually making any art.
So if anyone reading this has a couple of pieces they'd like to exhibit (wall mounted only, sorry), post here or PM me. Links to examples would be appreciated (or jpegs, my email is on my profile), but not essential. We'll provide all transport. Please note though that this is a one night event, not an ongoing show. In its favour is the fact that you can put the Neon Gallery on your cv, and that the evening itself will be rocking. Plus, you know, you might cash in - one of the organisers works for a law firm (yeah, I know) and will be bringing all of her bulging-chequebook friends who just would love to buy some hip young thing's creation.
Or you could just come for the party. |
