Channel 4 UK, is promoting the worst “Great Britain’s”. In their advert the put forward people like Lawrence Llewllyn Bowen. But I am sure there are more deserving characters: Cecil Rhodes, Lord Kitchener, Maggie Thatcher, Oswald Mosely, Oliver Cromwell and any King/Queen you want to mention. Obviously tactical votes are recognised.

I'm just a tourist, so I picked obvious ones like Thatcher, Blair, Sophie, and Guy Ritchie for being the UK movie industry's equivalent of Edward VIII (more or less). Ben Elton for pissing on the memory of The Young Ones and Blackadder. ALW; you know, bastards with staying power.

I understand his point entirely. A society that venerates the likes of Margaret Thatcher is not one in which I would feel secure raising a child.

They should have given him a medal, not put him in jail. It's a national disgrace.
