City Magick

Hi Everybody,
Need your input and thoughts on city magick:
Within three blocks of my house, are the following:

1. Well traveled Railroad Tracks.
2. A bridge underpass, the bridge goes over the railroad tracks,a very
busy main road.
3. A strange Concrete Cube like thing at the park, with one open side
and a chipped top corner, reminds me of the Egyptian Sarcophagus
in the great pyramid.
4. And on another bridge underpass close by, the grafitti reads:

Your thoughts and interpretations on their, significance close proximity to each other, and "city magick" uses.

Hmm, powerful energy. What kind is gonna kinda be very relative to you, I suppose. It's all very, very relative this energy stuff. But it cd be Mercurial energy.

Um, unless there's a connection b/w that sarcophagus and Thoth (usually the Egy = to Mercury), I dunno. How does it feel?

Sorry, no idea whatsoever.

I don't see that they all have to be linked, necessarily. They could all be very unique and different energies, clashing, even, maybe.

I also have a question. Can anyone tell me why I keep seeing an eye in triangle symbol all over London? It's grafitti, usually in marker pen (black), but the distinctive thing is, the eye has a tear falling from it. Sometimes 'Cosmologic' is written under it.

to answer Funktion's question, my experience is that magick does vary between cities. some city spirits do not like some rituals. Rituals have to be adecuated to the personality of the city

I'd take ciarconn's point even further, and say that there are three variables in city magick:

i. the mage hirself (personality)
ii. the location in the city (the genius loci or place energy)
iii. the time - this last variable must be taken into account because the mage and parts of the city are both variable according to it... mood of the mage and changing place energies mean that all city magick means having to remain very aware of a process of flux (as one does in magick generally, but in this case, it's more so). Change is the only permanence and all that, especially in environments as fast-changing as urban ones. For example, new blocks go up all the time, thus affecting energies all the time. On top of that, you have the energies of thousands of different types of people to take into account, unlike in, say, your little spot of quiet woodland.
