Funnily enough I have this recurring dream that whenever there's a disaster, at least one person with a weak understanding of probability tells me they had a premonition about it while they were sleeping.

Being an habitual worrier, I regularly have vague, anxious dreams of foreboding something or other. As with horoscope predictions, their imagery is sufficiently archetypal that - particularly when combined with my occasional flashes of deja vu - I have predicted every single human disaster ever.

Last Thursday night I had a dream about an ex who I can't abide anymore. On Friday night I ran into her on a pub in the Strand. Might not be a world catastophe, but it was a disaster!

Not a dream exactly, but I finished a short story on Sept 6, 2001 about a helicopter crashing into the pre-show of the MTV video music awards. It was called Dawn of the Proletariat.

I dreamt about Dave Grohl the other night. As he played the devil in that Tenacious D video I'm using that as my 'proof' for any and all evil shit that happens this month.

I had a dream the other night about St. Paul's being destroyed by a bomb, a cocaine bomb what ever that is.

Been having lots of dreams about war recently but that's hardly surprising.

But then I also had a dream I could change fighting styles by pressing buttons on a controller and used my new skills to break open cages containing lots of fluffy toy sheep which I decide to steal.

I'm hoping the second one comes true.

I have irregular dreams that I'm taking off on a big spaceship and it feels all portentous, like something's going to go very very wrong..

But I think it would be stretching credibility somewhat if I tried to claim 'em as being premonitious (I know that's not a word, but it should be).
