Yay another fantiastically enjoyable issue.

So the question- who is bad guy? Last issue i thought it was possible that it was Guy snith This issue? I'm thinking that its a member of Venus's family (possibly under the control of the interdimensional creature venus brought back last issue). Heh. It sounds so utterly preposterous. Its fun.

I was thinking exactly the same thing.....

I love Bad Guy's "outfit" - there's something so....*grotesque* about that weird sixties-marvel-on-overdrive look.

Check Phat when Venus explodes. Flapping face!

"They want me to record a cover of 'Like A Virgin'. Said I'd only do it if The Neptunes produce."

For that line alone, Milligan is like unto a god to me. With the sly Kelly Osbourne ref, he really knows his pop culture, doesn't he? Forget "Dazzler syndrome"!

no no no the phrase for which milligan should be deified this month is so simple:

'poor child'

pervessorX makes me smile all day.

I like it when Allred draws Guy wearing turtleneck sweaters. 'Post-X-Statix Withdrawal Syndrome' indeed. The Solomon O'Sullivan (figured he'd be called 'Sully' instead of 'Solly', but what are you going to do) stuff was great, all the 'Skrull Phonetics'/Iron Man Tech manuals/Asgardian myths/etc to help him decipher himself. Sharon Ginsburg met a grisly fate though, don't you think? And it's weird watching Dead Girl talk while she recombinates herself. I hope this series goes on and on and on.

I've heard vague rumblings that X-Statix is doing quite poorly in sales and dropping steadily, and most definitely will NOT run forever...

It SHOULDN'T run for ever.

That would be awful.

Seen the hardcover X_FORCE?

You found a treasure item!

Wait. I've seen the sales charts - it's definitely not the lowest selling X-title, much less the lowest selling Marvel title.

Maybe if they, like, y'know, marketed it to its real audience it would sell a little better.

But they won't, of course.

Still, yeah, it shouldn't run indefinitely.
