Sorry Bendt, I was referring to what was written in the article - no mention of the possibility that paedophiles in the government could just as likely be straight. Any whiff of a sex scandal government cover-up and it's the likes of Peter Mandelson, Chris Smith etc who are singled out. I get your point though.

I'm disinclined to take this that seriously as it's difficult to discover who runs 'The Propaganda Matrix', let alone what his journalistic credentials or political beliefs are. I'm not saying that I don't believe it's true, just that it seems to follow the usual procedure for the more doubtful conspiracy stories. And he is the first person I've seen to describe what Cherie Blair was doing as similar to Freemasonry.

And on the Sunday Herald pages he links to the advert? 'Discover your local Virgin'.

Basically, I find it doubtful, though not completely unlikely, that papers such as the News of the World and the Daily Mail would sit on a story about paedophiles in the Government, unless it was perhaps one of the ministers directly in charge of war operations, like Hoon or Straw. Sounds a bit too much like the 'Beckham is having an affair' rumour for my liking.

This story has been running for a few weeks, although it has been sidelined to a few columns on the inside pages of the papers during the past few days...libel laws being what they are, no paper is gonna stick their neck out and name names; look what happened with the Leslie/Johnson alleged rape saga...lawsuits flying all over the place. I find it believeable that Tony Blair would be prepared to bury this story, all for the sake of keeping his war machine on track, but it makes me sick that he espouses Christian values one minute, and the next minute not only is he planning to bomb Iraqi civilians to bits, he's also helping to protect paedophiles in order to save his own neck. Grrr. Rant over.

Roughly translated:

Thomas Rasmussen saw suspecious circumstances in Father Brennan's orphanage back in 1998, where it became apparent pedophile activity was at play. Someone he worked with said that pedophiles were employed in the ophanage and Brennan knew that.
