Well, here's an absolutely perfect example of the importance of keeping a good magical diary.
See, you look at the six cards you're shown initially, and select one. You concentrate on it, a card is destroyed, the remaining five are turned over and, lo and behold! Your card is not among them!
Astounding!
Or not.
If you note which six cards you're shown initially, and then compare them with the five you're shown at the end, you'll notice that none of the cards "remaining" are from the set of cards you were initially shown. They've all been "destroyed".
An important lesson to you would-be magi out there: do not trust your recollection! Record your data! |
