Not quite Shrek. I was enjoying the Hulk until the bit where he whirls the tank around by its barrel, which is just dumb.

However: for a 45 second short trailer, there is plenty-enough shots of Jennifer Connelly, so this bodes well for the film. And the Hulk seemed relatively good in the brief glimpses we get. Plus: it's Ang Lee.

Yeah. This could be good. Certainly better than Daredevil, I'd bet.

Grrrr. And now that I'm somewhere with fast bandwidth, they all come up as broken links. Joy. Anybody else know where a person can see this thing without watching football to get there?

Preferably a Quicktime version for us Mac folks?

When I saw Hulks face all I could think of was "I am Goro! Prince of Outworld!"... Hopefully they'll have the cgi fixed up and more fluid.
I like the voice though.

They've screened the film for Universal's executives as it is right now, and there was silence in the room for several minutes. They were stunned. This has far more beauty and poetry and poignancy and soul than we were expecting from the property. Avi told me that visually, that Ang has taken specific moments and panels from the history of the Hulk and given them a moving life he never really dreamt of. This is a film of loud moments, large moments, quiet ones and little ones. There are human beings in this movie trapped in a tragedy beyond their control. With forces that they can't command. It has the potential to be a truly great film, not just a great comic book movie.

"Avi told me personally..."

Not to be rude, but who are you? Do you work at Universal, or Marvel?

Oops. Misread, not "personally" - my head created that from "visually", I think.

Sorry.

Still want to know if you've seen the film, though.

Smile, repect the fact that some people here have positions that allow them access to things that could be damaged by giving up info. Since we're all posting under FicSuits anyway, there's not a lot of room for personal aggrandizement, yes?

That said, it doesn't really sound like iLad...

nono, sorry. That was a quote a friend of mine sent me... probably from Ain'titcool.com. I'll moderate for italics... I was just in a hurry.

Lack of the term "fucking awesome" was a dead give away.

As was this: "This is a film of loud moments, large moments, quiet ones and little ones."

Yeah, right.

Videod -

I was just curious, and in a pissy mood because of work. Sorry if I came over as sarky.

This is the only thing that make me reconsider all the praises I've heard from reviews. It just looks like an absurd idea plopped into the plot.

yeah, I'm still worried about the hulk dogs too.

but then again, a few years ago I didn't really have much faith that Ang Lee could pull off a martial arts film either....

I caught the trailer in front of Daredevil yesteday (along with trailers for Bulletproof Monk, LXG and X2--year of the comic film, looks like), and the film looks to have real potential. I'm not too sure about the Hulk himself, though; from the brief snippets in the trailer the cgi looked a bit cartoony. An otherwise excellent picture could easily make up for it, though.

Foust is SO authentic

So Harry Knowles loves it. Big deal. He called Attack of the Clones the most entertaining Star Wars movie ever.

shit, I just can't get to see any of these, so, help, OR I'LL SMASH PUNNNNYYAAARGHHHHHRRR!!!!

Now, seriously, I've seen the superbowl thing with Hulk throwing tanks and the dumb teaser with the toilet flying towards the camera, now tell me, this a new trailer, right?? briefly, whats in it that wasn't in the superbowl spot??

Wait! No Hurry! I am looking at it righ know...

Man, I'm even more anxious now after watching it. Could it be that Ang Lee has done THE movie as quoted above??

The CGI is OK for me, I don't know how some people look at these things, but I was talking to a guy, a graphic artist actually, that has the eye set to detect the tiny flaws in everyhting that completely spoil whatever film CGI he is looking at.
