Seems to me that the more appropriate way to "fit in with the title's continuing satire of celebrity culture" would be, rather than physically resurrecting Edie or faking her diaries, to examine her posthumously-published, juvenile & over-hyped diaries (vide Cobain). For comics to most closely mirror "reality" here, Guy would have to profit from said diaries, introducing a new theme of Edie-exploitation. Oh, and he'd have to be a skank. |
