two topics in one, actually:
1- does anyone have a scan of a picture of Grant Morrison wearing a luster for a hat? it ran on an old Direct Currents DC newsletter at the end of the 80's when he was interviewed about DOOM PATROL and ARKHAN ASYLUM. that pic told me comic book writers didn't have to be fat old bearded guys. so i had a rockstar who talked punky talk about other authors for some time.
2- and he carries on doing stuff (like the underwear modeling) for some laughs and to keep that spirit alive, i guess. with comics being - still and again - an underground medium, how big can it grow so WIZARD magazine will cover the often boring but sometimes glamourous lifestyles of comics pros (like Millar has been doing on his COLUMN)? do you think comics as a whole need it? |
