Spot on Evy. In my personal experience;
Sahaja Yoga works on clearing the central channel from blockages allowing successful raising of kundalini through the crown.
Though SY also does this, Tantra is particularly good for clearing the Ida and Pingala (left and right channels) and protects from any imbalance whilst raising energy thgough the chakras by unifying their male/female energies in the Sushumna, central channel.
Tai Chi and Chi Gung circulate the energy around the *whole* system, not just main 'organs' like the chakras, which helps to push through blockages in any part of the system. I have healed myself with both; from damaged joints to nervous tension, though in a non specific way, I didn't focus on the damaged part, the healing happened spontaneously). Reiki also does this, (but obviously during a session the recipient recieves treatment from another party). During the treatment, blocks anywhere in the system make themselves know and can then be treated directly.
As well as establishing a balanced circulation of energy, targeted Chakra work seems, to me, to be the key to correcting *specific* disorders, like diabetes.
I would use Tai Chi/Chi Gung to act as a 'tune-up', generally keeping the energy circulating, balanced and building a reserve to help in times of stress/ilness and increase 'well-ness'. I would use SahajaY/Tantra/KundaliniY/Middle Pillar Sephoroth to pinpoint the root location of the problem/block and act as 'surgery'on the aflicted centre, going back to some gentle Chi Gung for speedy 'post-op' recovery. |
