Servitor FAQ? or other compiled list

As a relatively new Barbelither I am very interested in learning more about the servitors that have been spawned by this group. Unfortunately it's very difficult for us newcomers to get the info - sifting through several hundered posts is a pain, and I still haven't been able to track down the original GEK thread.

Would someone (or several someone's) be able to compile a basic overview of the various Bar servitors (Peace Mango, GEK, Barbelith, etc...). I imagine this would be an open-ended work having more servitors added as they are created. And i'd be happy to post it on my website if there's no other location avail.

Or maybe I've missed something and such a doc already exists...? Where?

Thanks to all.

No such doc currently exists that I know of, though there are the lengthy threads on the topics. If the folks who created and work with these most can sum them up for a FAQ entry, this is a good place to start hashing it out. When there is enough here, we can recompile it on the wiki, probably under its own page.

Group Servitors: Can you tell me who I am missing? and Magickal Library both have lists of group servitors and links to original threads about them.

That would be great if some of the old-timers who have worked with these servitors could summarize and flesh out their characteristics. The links that Trijhaos provided were very helpful but somewhat sparse (and the original GEK thread is still nowhere to be found. Perhaps Ze has withdrawn it into the Aether?)

*bump*

The original GEK thread bit the dust many moons ago. It happens, or it used to; the shiny new HTML seems to have banished the Death Of Threads.

IIRC, Gek the wish-granting servitor was created by impulsivelad as a response to various pleas for magickal aid. The idea was that you'd post your wish on the board, offer up a suitable libation, and hope Gek was feeling generous. Ze started out on libations of milk and cookies, but hir diet seemed to broaden quite rapidly. Food's still a big feature of hir invocations, tho'.
