Someone stole our kitty.

We were looking for her and found cat food near the iron fence in front of our garden, by the sidewalk.

Someone went through the trouble of getting some cat food, waiting for a time when there were nobody home, and luring a small, 5-months cat outside... ack. Fuck. I miss her. How I wish I was there to stop whoever did this. Trying to hang to the thought that, if someone went through all this trouble, at least this kitty will be taken good care of. I hope. Whatever. Er, sorry. Just thought you people could cheer me up a little bit. Her name was Emily.

Gorgeous cat, I'm so sorry, Jade - must be incredibly awful for you. I think you're probably right, your cat looks pedigree, Siamese? She was probably stolen to sell on, and she is very likely to be having a lot of care lavished upon her. Not that it makes your loss any easier, but Emily is probably doing fine - missing you, but healthy, you know?

I'm glad that my dog isn't obviously pedigree, except to the trained eye, and thus is less likely to get nicked - I couldn't take it if someone stole him. I feel for you, man...

Oh, Jade. I'm so sorry. That would really break my heart. She's beautiful, and looks like such a sweetheart. I'm not sure it will help you, but sometimes it helps me (when I'm missing my kitties who live with my parents) to visit Rate My Kitten just to see the cute cats. I advise giving them all tens and ignoring the comments made under all photos, though; some people take the whole rating thing way too seriously.

So sorry Jade, that's fucking horrible. Cat-stealing is on the increase, but to second the above comments, whoever's taken her is obviously gonna take good care of her, but they are heartless evil bastards nonetheless. Big hugs to you.

What a beautiful creature.

A cruel thing to do. Sorry Jade.

I can't see the kitty but I'm sure she's very cute. It's not unknown for cats to go missing for quite a while and find their way home - I know, one of mine did that when he was just a wee thing. So don't give up hope.

Thanks for the vibes, folks. This morning I went home before coming to work and caught myself trying to spot her in our garden... I guess it's for the better if we (I live with two friends who loved this furry ball so much as I do) just move on... *sigh*. That's how life is, I guess. I hope whoever did this gets cancer.

I'm so sorry. This makes me even more grateful that my cat weighs twenty-five pounds and has thumbs (his paws look like little catcher's mitts!). No one wants him except me...

A situation of much suckage Jade. I hope the cat finds it's way back to you in a heartlifting cross-country journey with the help of a tough but tender mongrel dog or else that the new owners love it as much as you do.

That's absolutely fucking disgusting. I have no words, but you can have some sympathy and huggles, if you want.

Apart from anything else, it's just dumb. To steal a cat that someone loves, when there're millions of homeless ones... that suggests, as has been pointed out already, monetary reasons. Which actually makes it suck even more.

If anyone nicked my dog, I'd suddenly turn into a really crap Charles Bronson. I would want, and attempt, to kill them, but would probably be horribly killed myself.

Back to the point, though... that sucks. That really sucks.

Not much else I can say; sorry.

it's a beautiful cat - and a pretty name. it makes me worried for a siamese kitten that comes to play outside the movie theater where i work sometimes - it's very friendly, and people always pick it up and say, "is this a stray? she's coming home with us" and so forth. it's a shame to have to keep your cat inside, but i guess siamese are rare. i really hope she comes back, jade.

ooooooohhhh! bastards!

Sorry Jade.
Dunno what else to say, but keep thinking about how no-one would want to steal my cat 'cos he's barely got any teeth and his ears are all mangled 'cos he used to fight a lot. But am going to go hug him now, and uh... send out positive catty vibes? Yes, yes I am.

I hope somehow you get her back.

I'm so sorry for you. I'm now desperately wishing I wasn't at work, but instead at home giving my cat a hug.

Sorry sweetheart. If it makes you feel any better the person that did it will probably get scratched to death by a tiger. Hopefully Rocky, the tiger my dad adopted. He's getting bigger all the time and I think he sniffs thief's sweat ...
