Have you checked out Adam Mcleans Alchemy Website? I don't know if it has specifically what you are looking for but there sure is a lot of info there to dig through. I specifically found mention of Splendor Solis imagery on this page, but there may be even more... the site is huge.

actually, I've been to both those websites (The Alchemy Website is very good). Alas, both just show the paintings but no real descriptions. Tsk...
