Has anyone seen this?

It's something I've wanted to read for a long time - obviously, I missed out at the time due to being four and in Africa.

Also check here under lost and found - I have put up the 10 page story from Warrior 4 that was never reprinted

and, while I'm here, I'll have to say that I feel this thread has all the potential to become a legend. A real classic. Intense, intellectual and insultingly stuffed full of bile and deep thought.

It may go on for years.

It gradually extends out of Barbelith.

Until everybody in the world is joining in.

Giving their thoughts.

On Marvelman.

Mandela. Blixy (the weapons inspector). Eric Heiden (speed skater). Boon (Hi Ho Silver).

Even the cosmic Smalsh Yegger would probably chip in with some patter about panel arrangement or summat (you pedantic cunt smalshy)

The real trenchspotting egghead stoner mutherfuckers out there will know who Smalsh Yegger is.

The rest of you are obviously.....just....

lost.

So, lots of nice treacle time Leach art in number two.

I know who Smalsh Yegger is. Do I win a prize? Do I?

I've read exactly one (1) issue of Marvel/Miracleman. I should like to read more, but I don't believe it is currently available in collected form in the States...

It's not collected in the states, but there was progress on the legal front a while back, and Gaiman seems optimistic about seeing the series continue. I picked up the whole Alan Moore run for around 80 on ebay earlier this year, which is more than I would have liked, but not that bad considering. So, if you really want the book, it is attainable. The book has a lot of great moments, though the narration can be a bit overwhelming. Still, the Totelben art makes it all worth it, as it is just incredible.
