On the final leg of my journey, I could go to either Greece, Turkey or Germany, between my stays in Amsterdam and Rome..
the one that is most appealing at the moment is Turkey - That way i could go see three wonders of the world at once - The statue of Zeus, the temple of Artemis, and the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus. The statue of Zeus is quite near Athens though. And for some reason Germany is appealing.
