I mean, when a bunch of fifty-year-olds like Aerosmith or Alice Cooper or the Stones are sending more adrenaline through their audience's systems than bands half or even a third of their age, one has to despair for Rock's future.

The whiteboy guitar bands THAT GET ON TV don't rock, for the obvious reason that TV and ROCK don't mix!
Trust me when I say I could rattle off the names of about 50 new-ish groups I've been exposed to in the last year who could wipe aforementioned rock-dinosaurs off the face of the earth from half a mile away with a well placed sonic bullet! (Equipping them with such is another matter of course, but we here at the Noise War Coalition Research Labs are working on it..)
