A am a Picasso painting with my parrot eye.
The parrot is called Fawkes, after Dumbledore's phoenix in Harry Potter. He is called this because he is a Sun Conure, or Sun Bird.
When he was titchy he used to fiddle with my nose ring and my earrings but now he is bigger he is used to them. Also he has a ring on his leg himself, so I think he just thinks that mine is like his and that we all have rings on us somewhere or other.
He is my lookout bird. When I am asleep, he looks out in case something is coming to get us. He thinks I feel safe because of this. Bless. |
