Ever been in love? The one that got away?

So who was the great love of your life? Who is the great love of your life? How did it all go down?

The Return Of Rothkoid
23:41 / 11.12.02
Anyone who's been sniffing around the board over the past six months knows a) the person and b) how it went down. And still is, funnily enough.

Yee-ha. Great.

Ah...the great love of my life?

Pizza.

And Guinness.

And this very cool Canadian girl who pokes around the board and feels way too much guilt about eating a peice of chicken.

*sigh*

S. Still see S. from time to time. Things happened a year ago that would change us forever. One of those things was pretty fuckin' tragic. Can't really talk about it to this day. Suffice to say, there ain't no way I'll ever forget S.

S. loved my body and made me feel beautiful. S. couldn't hack me, though. Hell, I don't blame him.

Probably the last person I ever loved with that little forethought and weighing and planning.

Unfortunately I'm an idiot, because the love of my life wants to try and have something again, but I'm hesitant for some reason...

The love of my life is a homosexual floutist living across the ocean. Well, that's one of them. Another is a theatre prof twenty years my senior from east berlin who speaks russian and can jump about six feet in the air, and he's married. I love the ones I can't have, and it's driving me mad.

The great love of my life was Ariadne, who rather selfishly will have nothing to do with me, just because I got married or something.

Sigh.

By the way, Wembley, what do they flout? Their homosexuality? A nice car? Full run of Flex Mentallo?

Sarah Cox. We were 6. I moved. Apart from her, Pinner was shit.

A Mini Pop called Emma (who, a couple of years after the series, ended up on a Rice Krispies ad).

I will love you both until the stars frunnisrund.

Mine is now one of my best friends (after much wrangling). If we hadn't shared a dog I bet we would no longer be talking to each other now, but we had to keep in touch because we were sharing the dog. How it all went wrong- I liked booze. She liked one of my mates. (Who, suffice it to say, she didn't like for very long, and who is no longer one of my mates.)
Now, many years later, as I say, she's one of my closest friends. I still get regretful sometimes though.

She lives in San Francisco. I don't. The proximal distance never gets bridged, for various reasons. This has been going on for eight years now. We're mad(e) for one another but it just doesn't seem like it's ever going to come together properly. We're forced to go on w/our lives as if nothing's happened, hoping it'll all work out someday.

I am the one that got away.

Oh hell, that's not especially true. Just someone had to say it. And I fell down some stairs yesterday and a little bravado is making my bones feel better.
