Ok. Everyone's been talking about assembling a set of FAQs - so here's a way we can all do it together: The Barbelith FAQs wiki

Anyone can edit the entries that are there. Anyone can add new pages or explain things more thoroughly if they feel like it. Just remember, respecting other people's work is important so please don't go in and delete everything willy nilly - try and make positive contributions whenever you can and everything will be fine.. I'll be playing with it a bit over the day as well...

I started showing up in January or February of '99, when all was grey. There was sufficient communal feeling at that time that I assumed it'd been around for a while. Then again, there was no face-mounting or fishcakery to speak of, so I could be mistaken.

Finally get the whole Wiki thing. Have attempted to be helpful on what I know, and will keep an eye on it, as this kind of thing really interests me.

It's not THAT easy to fuck up, because every version of every page is stored, so in principle you can just skip back to an earlier one and cut and paste. Obviously this would be impractical under the weight of a concerted assault, which is why I don't think we should really be linking to it outside BArbelith for the time being until we see what happens... So far I'm really really happy with it...
